On Saturday, June 20, 2026, STAR Education Society hosted a Facial Portrait Charcoal Workshop as part of our Youth Wellbeing & Career Project, supported by The National Lottery Community Fund.
Designed to foster observation skills, reinforce facial proportions, and introduce core sketching techniques, the session provided students with hands-on practice in light and shadow, precise feature alignment, and patient, structured planning. Beyond artistic development, this therapeutic creative arts session helped young people enhance focus, practice mindfulness, and reduce everyday stress in a supportive environment.
